سردار عتیق احمد خان کی لوٹن آمد اور مسلہ کشمیر پر تبادلہ خیال.

سابق وزیر اعظم آزاد کشمیر اور مرکزی صدر ال جموں و کشمیر مسلم کانفرنس سردار عتیق احمد خان کے دورہ  برطانیہ کے دوران مسلم کانفرنس لوٹن برانچ نے ان  کے اعزاز میں کشمیری کمیونٹی عشایئے تقریب کا انحقاد کیا 

جس میں برطانیوی پارلیمنٹ کے فرینڈز اف کشمیر کے ممبر اف پارلمنٹ کیلون ہوپکنز،  لارڈ بل میکنزی اور کشمیری نزاد برٹش لارڈ  قربان حسین کے علاوہ لوٹن برا کونسل کے کونسلرز ،کشمیری بزنس کمیونٹی کے لوگ اور مختلف    سیاسی پارٹیوں کے کارکنان نے کثیر تحداد بھی شرکت

نارتھ لوٹن کے ممبر اف پارلیمنٹ کیلون ہوپکنز  نے کہا کہ وہ کشمیر کی آزادی، انصاف اور امن کے لیے اپنی ہماہت ہمیشہ جاری رکھے گے.

لوٹن کے لارڈ بل میکنزی نے کہا ہمیں اس بات کا ادراک کرنا ھو گا کہ ہم کشمیر ایشو پرکہاں کھڑے ہیں اورہم کو کس قسم کا اپروچ لے کر آگے چلنا چاہیے. یاد رہے کہ کشمیر کوئ شئے نہیں جیسے خرید و فروخت یا بارٹر سسٹم کے تحت حل کیا جاے گا.

 کشمیر ایک کڑور پچاس لاکھ انسانی حقوق کی بحالی کا مسلہ ہے جس کی آزادی کی خاطر کشمیریوں نے آج تک تقربنا چھ لاکھ قیمتی جانیں قربان کی ہیں اور پھچلے ستر سال سے کشمیری   حالت جنگ میں ہیں اب وقت آگیا ہے کہ بھارت کو پنڈت جوہر لال نہرو کے کشمیر پر کیے ہوے وعدے کو  عملی جامہ پہنانا ہو گا جو اُنہون نے انٹرنیشنل کمیونٹی سے کشمیریوں کو حق خود ارادیت دینے کے حوالے سے کیا تھا.

لارڈ قربان حسین نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کشمیر کی کریم کسے کہتے ہیں وہ سردار عتیق احمد خان کے بخیر مکمل نہیں. ایک وقت تھا کہ ہمارے پاس کے ایچ خور شید جیسے اعلی دماغ لوگ ماجود تھے لیکن بدقسمتی سے ہم ان سے کوئ کام لے سکے. آج ہمارے پاس سردار عتیق احمد خان جیسے پڑھے لکھے جو کشمیر پر اپنی نماہندگی کی  تمام تر صلاحیت رکتھے ہیں ماجود ہیں لیکن ہم ان سےکوئ کام.نہیں لے رہیے.

 اگر انہیں ہماری ضرورت پڑھے تو ھم حاضر ہیں کیونکہ یہ کشمیر پر ایک مکمل دسترس رکتھے ھیں یہاں اور بھی بہت سے کشمیری لیڈر آتے ہیں لیکن جو بات سردار عتیق احمد خان کی ہے وہ کسی اور میں نہیں جہاں تک مسلم کانفرنس کا تحلق ھے یہ وہ ایک سیاسی جماعت ھے جس سے بہت سی جماعتوں نے جنم لیا لیکن کامیاب نا ھو سکی مسلم کانفرنس کی جیڑیں بہت مضبوط ہیں    

روزنامہ کشمیر آبزرور کی نماہندگی کرتے ھوے راقم نے سردار عتیق احمد خان سے سوال کیا... " ماجودہ عالمی تناظر   میں تحریک آذادی کشمیر مختلف نظریات میں بٹی ھوی اور بین القوامی سطح پر کمزور نظر آتی ہے کیا اس بنیادی وجہ لیڈرشپ کا فقدان ھے یا اتحاد و فکر وعمل کی کمی ؟

 اس کے جواب میں سردار صاحب نے کہا اس وقت ریاست کے اندر دو ہی نظریے ماجود ہیں ایک الحاق پاکستان اور دوسرا خود مختار کشمیر جہاں تک تحریک کی کمزوری کا تحلق ھے تو ایسی بات بلکل نہیں اگر آج  نو نو سال کے بچے تحریک کےلیے شہد ہو رہے ھے تو  یہ تحریک کی کمزوری نہیں بلکہ طاقت ھے اور رہی بات بین القوامی سطح پر کشمیر کی تحریک کی کمزوری کی تو اس کا دارو مدار پاکستان کی فارن پالیسی کی کمیابی یا ناکامی پر منصر ھے اور دوسرا کشمیریوں کا باہم منظم نا ھونا بھی ایک وجہ ھے.  رہی بات کشمیری لیڈرشپ کی تو مقصد تو سب کا ایک ھئ ھے لیکن اسٹراٹیجی کا فرق ضرور ھے.

High turnout in kashmir sees winds of change

The high voters turn out in the first phase of polls delivered a new message that winds of change are blowing in kashmir, where BJP is trying to win power for the first time.

The five phased assembly polls were started on 25 November, which results are due on 23 December.

Analysts say the high turnout in polls is significant in many ways, however, some claim that muslim voters have come out in large number to stop the BJP from winning, while others say the high turn out is simply seen as a vote for change.

When ppl are being asked; what made them come out and vote? they told we come out to vote for three main reasons Ist for quality of education second development plan and third to vote for a meaningful change NDTV report.

Modi-cracy for Democracy a big ''Q' 'mark?

 However,  Modi said his party would carry forward the initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir on the principles of “Insaniyat, Jamhuriyat and Kashmiriyat” as envisioned by the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He reiterated that BJP will follow the path shown by Vajpayee “which is within the ambit of democracy and humanity.” He said, “The three mantras shown by Vajpayee will remain the principles of BJP in reaching out to the people of J&K and solving the Kashmir issue.”

Hubris Invites Nemesis

First of all, I want to clarify the meaning of hubris, its meaning are overweening pride; self-glorification; arrogance; insolence, according to Helen North, a professor in Greek literature, she defines,  It is “the arrogant violation of limits set by the gods or by human society”.

The concept of hubris found in Greek fiction darama which means whenever someone, an institution or a ruler transgressed or abused their power and authority than it invites nemesis and that cannot be avoided.

Last month, on 19th April, the attack on Hamid Mir, a well-known Journalist and TV presenter, after landed in Karachi city and was on his way to the studios of GEO TV,  a private news channel, when unidentified gunmen in a car have shot  and wounded him badly, however, Mr Mir's brother, a leading investigative journalist, has accused the country's intelligence agency, the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence), of orchestrating the attack. Geo TV had aired this news continually 8hrs with picture of DGISI Zaheerul Islam without no credible evidence.

This hubris of Geo TV invites nemesis and came under heavy criticism from rival TV channels and in social media. Both the Geo TV and Hamid Mir has become more controversial topic in to-day's life.

However, the judicial inquiry is underway and the commission has three weeks to submit its report. A reward of Rs 1 crore has been announced for those who help identify the attackers.   

Is pakistani media playing routine role?

Media is not only the mirror of the society but also an instrument of social change. Its pivotal role is to inform and educate the society towards betterment and act as a medium of communication between various organs of the society and respond them with due credibility.

It is also its responsibility to critically examine facts and to project them in an objective manners without fear or favour.

As regards, today, I'm gonna discuss particularly the Pakistani media and its routine role.  However, Pakistani media is in evolutionary process but it must not betray the trust reposed in it.

During the last decade, Pakistani media has developed a taste in politics through current affairs and news/ events but it has some positive impacts and some negatives.

In this regard, some non professional journalist and privately-owned media outlets have has changed its normal role and converted its routine role into non routine role through speculating and conjecturing theory.

Pakistan is now awash in 24 hours news cycles and some news are just hype created. let's take the example of the news of an attack on a well-known journalist, Hamid mir.

Pakistani media published the story of Hamid Mir on its one side illusion and the other-side confusion and people don't know who to believe.

This is not the media's routine role which has been shown and circulating in nowadays. Media ought to be independent but not irresponsible.  

Media should have to give diverse point of view on issues and let the viewers decided the end. that's media's routine role when they do like that it would be easy for viewers to know what is the truth.

Baber Awan’s Divulgence

 One of the Pakistan’s renowned English papers “The News” has pubblished an article today “Babar Awan finally concedes he is no doctor from any university”. Baber Awan, who has had fake dectorate degree, using Dr, as “prefix’’ to his name, was not true.

Howerver, he has already mentioned in 2006, before election nomination papers that he had got his PhD in criminal Law from the ‘’ Monty Cello University USA’’ in 1998 session.

Interestingly, he has misspelled the fake Monticello University in his papers as “Monty cello”

LOOK! This is the standered of Pakistan’s prominent leaders, who led Pakistan towards development. Just shame to them and shame to ppl’s of Pakistan, who elected them. Here rises a question, how possible it seems like that?

These leaders are honest to Pakistani society. I am afraid to understand this myth.

Also, Mr Awan is the person, who had recently making fun of the SUPREME COURT” in press conference by saying that;                           

“Notice Milya Teh Khak Na Hilya, Sadkey Jhay Enna Sohnaye Tey,  kyun Sonya Da Gila Karan!  Laakh Vari BisMillah Kara…!”

  However, Mr Awan, himself has become a fun debate in Pakistani social and electronics media nowadays!!

The Videogame Industry

Video game! when we utter this word from ours mouth we feel inside a kind of excitement, joyness, thrill, passion etc. video game is basically a game which is played on computer in which the player controles moving pictures on screen by pressing buttons.

Marshall mcluhan, in his book Understanding media writes the extentions of man that the characteristic of all media means that the 'content' of any medium is always another medium. The content of writing is speech, just as the written word is the content of print, and the print is the content of the telegraph.

The evolution of the video game has been started since in 1950s. Accordng to  (xtimeline.com) the first electronic game is known as the ''Noughts and Crosses''   january 01, 1952. And after six year in 1958, 'William Higinbotham' created first video game known as "Tennis for two''. And since  then the concept of video game developed and later its status change into video game as a key player in the  media industry. During that period, other games like spacewar, corndog and space travel were introduced, although they were not so popular in the market.A decade later in 1972, video game staus has completely change after the widespread success of 'pong' by the Atari.  In 1978, after the successful of 'Space Invaders' it is said that it was the golden time of video game industry development in America.
